Get rewards

To set up Google Pay, you need a Google account, an active Indian phone number that starts with +91, and an active Indian bank account.

• The app works on phones running Android versions 6+. You need an internet connection to install the app.
• After installing, you'll sign in and add your bank account or a debit or credit card.

Get rewards on Google Pay through special offers, including cash rewards.

• Referral rewards:
  • When you use your unique code or link, both you and the invited user get a reward after their first payment.
  • You only get one referral reward for your first installation. The referred user must be new to Google Pay and must use your code.
• Google Pay scratch Cards:
  • When you send or receive money, you'll get a scratch card. You can find it in the "Rewards section."
    • To get cashback or vouchers, you need to add a bank account in Google Pay.
  • Cashback and referral rewards typically take up to 7 business days to appear in your linked bank account.
  • To find your earned rewards:
    1. Open the Google Pay app.
    2. Under "Promotions," tap Rewards.
  • Eligibility for offers is subject to Google Pay's terms and rules.

You can play games to get special offers, including cash rewards, when you use Google Pay.

How to get rewards

Send and receive referral rewards

You can earn up to 100 referral rewards by inviting new users to Google Pay. Once the referred user makes their first payment, both users will receive the reward. You can only earn one referral reward for installing Google Pay. 

Note: The person you invite may receive invites from multiple users. You'll only receive the referral reward if the invitee uses your unique code.

The reward may take up to 7 business days to reflect in your account.

To send a referral invite:

1. On your mobile device, open Google Pay .
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
3. Under the “Invite friends” section, tap Invite.
4. Select how you'd like to invite.
5. Tap Send.

To apply a Google Pay referral code that you have received:

1. Open Google Pay .
2. On the top right, tap Referral Code.
3. Type in the referral code that your friend sent you. If the code is valid, you’ll see a success screen.
4. Make your first payment.

Earn Google Pay Scratch Cards

You could get cashback or vouchers when you use Google Pay. 

1. If you haven’t already done so, add your bank account to Google Pay.
2. Use Google Pay to send money to or receive money from someone else. You’ll get a Google Pay scratch card in your Rewards section under Promotions.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to find out if you've earned a reward.

If you earn cashback, the money will be deposited into your bank account within 7 business days. Read our terms and conditions for more information.

View your Rewards

 To see your reward history:

1. Open Google Pay .
2. Under 'Promotions' tap 'Rewards' to see rewards you've earned
