Change your Google Pay username

Important: Your username on Google Pay is the name that you've set on your Google Account.

To change your username, change the name associated with your Google Account through the Gmail app.

1. On your mobile device, open the Gmail app.
2. At the top right, tap your profile picture, followed by Google Account.
3. Under 'Personal Info' or 'Your Info', tap Name.
4. Next to your current name, tap the arrow.
5. Update your name.
6. Tap Change.

Change your username through the Gmail website

1. Open a browser.

   Example: Google Chrome

   Tip: You can open a browser either on your computer or on your mobile device

2. Go to Gmail.
3. At the top right, click your Profile picture Manage your Google Account.
4. Under 'Personal Info' or 'Your Info', click Name and pronunciation.
5. Next to your current name, click the arrow.
6. Update your name.
7. Click Save.

Change your Google Pay profile picture

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Pay app .
2. At the top-right corner, tap your profile picture.
3. Access 'Settings', then Personal Info or Your Info.
4. Tap on your current profile picture.
5. You'll have the option 'Take photo' or 'Choose from phone'.

Tip: Updating your profile picture applies the change to all Google products connected to that Google account.

Change the language in your Google Pay app

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Pay app .
2. In the top-right corner, tap your profile picture Languages.
3. From the list, select your preferred language.
