Important: Currently, the UPI Tap & Pay feature is available only for Android users.
When you tap and pay through UPI, you can select UPI payment methods like a bank account, UPI Lite, RuPay credit card, or credit line account. Ensure you’ve turned on NFC settings in your Android phone and have an active UPI payment method.

NFC errorsIf the "Tap & Pay" payment mode on UPI is unavailable because of NFC errors, ensure your NFC is turned on, reopen the app and try again.
When your "Tap & Pay" payment on UPI fails, try to scan the UPI QR code and complete the payment. The money deducted from your payment method will be reversed within 3 business days.
You can only tap and pay on UPI NFC tags, QR code with UPI NFC tag, or smart SoundPods with UPI NFC tag. "Tap & Pay" payments to another mobile phone is not currently supported.
The feature only works with UPI payments through bank accounts, RuPay credit cards, credit line accounts, and UPI Lite. To pay with UPI, close the error page, tell the cashier you'd like to pay with UPI instead of card, and tap your phone on a UPI Tap & Pay supported device.
Ensure that you’ve added an active payment method and have sufficient balance. Money deducted from your payment method will be reversed within 3 business days.
