Buy a gift card

1. On your mobile device, open Google Pay .
2. Go to the Gift Cards store.
3. Select the brand you want.
4. Select the following values for your gift card:
   • Denomination
   • Quantity
5. Read the applicable terms and conditions, like:
   • Validity
   • Redemption options
   • Usage guidelines
6. Select a payment method:
   • UPI
   • Card
7. Place your order.

Change a gift card order

After you buy a gift card, you can’t change your order. However, you can buy a new gift card.

Send a gift card

After a successful order, you can redeem the gift card on the brand’s website, app, or physical store. The options vary from case to case. You can visit the gift card store and easily gift any gift cards you bought.

Check redemption details

The redemption details of a gift card depend on the brand. To find the redemption details, check the “How to redeem” information when you buy a gift card. You can also tap the purchased gift card from the convo card.

Extend the validity of gift cards

When you buy a gift card, check its validity and other terms and conditions. Once a gift card is issued, we can’t extend its validity. To check if an exception can be made and the validity of a gift card can be extended, contact the gift card brand directly.

Payment & order status

Forms of payment for gift cards

You can pay for a digital gift card through either the Google Pay app (UPI) or tokenized cards. The steps are the same for both options:

1. On your mobile device, open Google Pay .
2. Go to the Gift Cards store.
3. Select the gift card.
4. Add it to the cart.
5. Check out.
6. In the “Payments” page, enter your UPI PIN.

Tip: If the payment is successful, you’ll receive an order confirmation.

Error messages upon redemption

To raise a dispute:

1. Tap the convo card.
2. At the bottom, tap Raise Dispute.
3. Select Unable to redeem gift card.
4. Enter the error message.

Gift card is accidentally shared with someone

Do not share gift card codes with anyone except those who are supposed to redeem them. Codes are for one time use. We can’t replace or refund a gift card after you buy it.
