Shopping is more fun and interactive with the new Shop and Pay Hunt game on Google Pay. When you use the Google Pay app to transact with merchants, you can collect coins and items in the game. The more you transact, the more items or coins you collect. To win a cashback voucher of up to ₹200 INR, collect all five coins. You can also invite your friends to play the game and send them invites so that you can earn rewards together.
What you need
To play the game, you need to have:
- The latest version of the Google Pay app
- A bank account linked to the Google Pay app.
How to participate
Step 1: On your mobile device, open the Google Pay app .
Step 2: To go to the campaign page, you can tap the link in the:
- Shop and Pay Hunt banner on the homepage
- “Promotion” or “Offers” section
- Invitations that you receive in messages from your friends
Step 3: To start the game, on the campaign page, tap on the "Let's start" button.
Step 4: To win a coin or item, complete one of these 3 activities:
- Invite a friend: Get a friend to use Google Pay to either shop online or scan a QR code and pay a merchant.
- Scan a merchant’s QR code: You can make up to three transactions a day, with a minimum amount of ₹30 INR each.
- Shop at an online merchant: You can make up to three transactions a day, with a minimum amount of ₹30 INR each.
Tips:
- When you complete the daily activities, you get:
- Items
- Coins
- Multiple items can be collected when you invite a friend to transact at any merchant.
- You can earn items after they complete the transaction.
- Your friend will also earn items after they complete the transaction.
- If you accept an invite, you may receive an auto voucher.
Step 5: Collect the coins or items.
- To earn up to ₹200 INR, collect all five coins.
If you receive an invite from another player
Step 1: Accept the invite.
Step 2: To earn items after accepting the invite, complete the activities.
- If you receive multiple invites, you can only get items for the invites you accepted and completed.
- Complete your existing invite before you accept another invite.
- To collect more coins or items, complete the other activities in the game.
Step 3: To earn up to ₹200 INR, collect all five coins.

- You can earn cashback if you:
- Collect the five coins.
Tips:
- You can earn up to ₹200 INR cashback when you collect all five coins.
- In your rewards channel, you can find the cashback you earn.
- If unused, your cashback reward expires seven days after you redeem it.
- All cashbacks are added to your UPI-enabled bank account linked to Google Pay.
- To receive rewards, make sure your bank account is added while you participate in the campaign.
- Your cashback expires after 45 days if:
- The card isn’t scratched.
- You have no account linked to Google Pay.
- Issues with your linked account prevent the cashback from being added.
