Problems adding or restoring your bank to Google Pay
- If you're trying to add a bank account that you share with someone else, it won't work. You can only add a bank account that you own by yourself.
- Make sure the phone number you use for Google Pay is only linked to your own bank account.
- If you have more than one bank account with the same bank, check if the phone numbers connected to the accounts are the same.
- If the numbers are the same, you won't be able to add your bank to Google Pay. Talk to your bank to fix this.
What is a customer ID?
A customer ID is a unique identification number that the bank gives to customers with a savings, current, loan or fixed deposit account.

- Passbook
- Account statement
- Welcome letter
- Chequebooks
- You can also check the 11-digit customer identification file (CIF) ID printed on the first page of your passbook and account statement.
Combine Your Bank Accounts
- To put all your bank accounts together under one number, talk to your bank.
- To find your bank's contact information, go to the Digisaathi website.
