Manage your UPI Autopay mandates
Tip: Autopay is supported through @okaxis, @okhdfcbank, and @okicici handles. If your UPI ID ends with @oksbi, here’s how you can create an additional UPI ID.
Find your mandate in Google Pay
- Open the Google Pay app .
- At the top right, click your profile picture.
- Select Autopay. You can find the status of the mandates in these three tabs:
- Live: Mandates that are currently active.
- You can modify or revoke these mandates.
- Pending: Mandates that require action, like authorize or decline the mandate.
- Completed: Completed mandates, like executed, expired, or revoked mandates.
- Live: Mandates that are currently active.
Authorize a mandate request from a merchant
- Open the Google Pay app .
- At the top right, click your profile picture.
- Select Autopay.
- In the “Pending” tab, select the mandate you want to take action on:
- Set up autopay
- Cancel autopay
- Enter your UPI PIN.
Revoke or cancel a mandate
You can choose to revoke any live mandate with your Google Pay app.
- Open the Google Pay app .
- At the top right, click your profile picture.
- Select Autopay.
- In the “Live” tab, select the mandate you want to modify.
- Tap Cancel autopay.
- Enter your UPI PIN.
- Check the status in the “Live” tab.
Authorize payment requests from merchants
- If mandate amount is less than ₹5000 INR: For the first payment, you’ll need to enter your UPI PIN.
- If mandate amount is more than ₹5000 INR: When the payment is due, you’ll need to enter your UPI PIN.
Tip: If a transaction needs authorization from you, on your app, you’ll receive a notification.
Troubleshoot issues with mandates
Find details about your Autopay mandate
- Open the Google Pay app .
- At the top right, click your profile picture.
- Select Autopay.
- Select the mandate.
- Expand the detailed transaction page. You’ll find details, like:
- Unique autopay number
- Start and end date
- Frequency
- Debit details
Created a mandate but didn’t receive a reward
When the mandate is executed, you’ll be eligible to receive a scratch card. This is based on the terms and conditions of the reward. Learn more about reward FAQs.
