Verify your account

We were unable to verify some information in your Google Account, so we have temporarily suspended your account. Until we verify your account information and reactivate your account, you may be unable to buy things from Google or use some Google products.

To reactivate your account, please provide the information and documents listed below. It's important that the "Email" field contain the email address of the account that has been suspended.

You'll need:

A government-issued ID.
A document, such as a bank statement or utility bill, showing your name and address.

After you submit your documents

We’ll contact you by email once we’ve verified your information.
While we're verifying your information, you may not be able to make payments or purchases, and your Google services may be temporarily suspended.

For the quickest resolution, make sure your ID submission meets these requirements:

The image clearly shows:
- All four corners of the document.
- Your first and last name. The name must match the name in the Google payments profile.
- Your date of birth.
- The ID's expiration date. (The ID must be current and not expire within the next 30 days.)
- The name of the government authority that issued the ID.
- Your signature.
We cannot accept documents that are covered in any way, including by a camera flash.

Address verification document

Bank statement with your full address
Credit or debit card statement
Utility bill
Insurance document
Current rental or lease agreement

For the quickest resolution, make sure your document submission meets these requirements:

The image clearly shows:
- All four corners of the document.
- Your first and last name.
- Your address, including the street name, street number, and city.
- A creation or issue date within the past year.
- The name (and logo, if applicable) of who issued the document.
The name and address must match the info in the suspended Google payments profile. To view or edit your stored name and address, go to your Google payments profile.
We cannot accept documents that are covered in any way, including by a camera flash.

Note: If the document is from a bank, it must be a bank statement. We cannot accept images of a credit or debit card.
