Withdraw money

You may have a positive Google Pay balance if you:

  • Accepted money sent to you using your Google Pay balance.
  • Successfully disputed a Google Pay balance transaction.
  • Received a refund for something you bought using your Google Pay balance.
  • Earned a credit through a Google product or service.

You can keep up to $25,000 in your Google Pay balance.

You can transfer money from your Google Pay balance to your linked bank account or debit card for free. Transfers to a debit card typically complete within minutes but may take up to 24 hours for some banks. Transfers to a bank account are usually done within 5 business days.

  1. Open the Google Pay app Google Pay.
  2. Tap Payment methods.
  3. Under "Google Pay Balance," tap More More and then Cash out.
  4. Enter the amount you want to transfer.
  5. Confirm the payment method.
  6. Tap Transfer.
