How to use printed QR codes
After your business is approved for Google Pay for Business, a Google Pay agent prints your business’ personalized QR code and delivers a standee to your address. You can also download your QR code from your mobile device and print out other copies for transactions.
To print your own QR code, follow these steps:
- On your device, open the Google Pay for Business app.
- Tap QR code.
- At the bottom, tap Download or share.
- Choose to either download an image of your QR code or share the image with the app of your choice.
The image that you downloaded or shared can now be printed and placed in your store.
- Share your business' primary phone number with your customer.
- Instruct your customer to do the following:
- On their device, open the Google Pay app.
- In the "New" section, choose to pay by phone number.
- Enter your business' primary phone number. A list of business and individuals linked to the phone number appear.
- Select the business that you want to receive the payment.
When a customer pays you, a status message notifies you of an incoming payment. After you receive the payment, you'll get confirmation showing the amount paid, customer name, time, date, and reference number.
