You can attract more customers and enhance your visibility on Google Maps and Google Search by adding high-quality photos of your shop, products, and services you offer directly through the Google Pay for Business app.
Add Photos- On your mobile device, open the Google Pay for Business app
.
- Tap your Profile.
- Tap Add Photos.
- Take photos with the Camera option or upload photos from the Gallery.
- Added photos will undergo a review.
- Once approved the photo will be published and visible on Google Maps and Google Search where users can find it.

Add photos to your Google Business Profile from Google Pay for Business
Tip: Ensure that your photos adhere to Google’s content policy. Otherwise it may get rejected. If it is rejected you may have to upload a different photo.
Important: Check this link before you upload photos, the photo should adhere to Google’s content policy.
Your photos look best on Google if they meet the following standards:
- Format: JPG or PNG.
- Size: Between 10 KB and 5 MB.
- Recommended resolution: 720 px tall, 720 px wide.
- Minimum resolution: 250 px tall, 250 px wide.
- Quality: The photo should be in focus and well lit, and have no significant alterations or excessive use of filters. In other words, the image should represent reality.
Tip:
- You'll receive a notification on your device indicating whether your photo has been approved or rejected.
- You can upload up to 10 photos per session. There’s no overall limit to the total number of photos that you can upload.
You can only delete your own uploads and report on a user's photo if it is an inappropriate photo.
To delete photos:
- On your device, open Google Pay for Business app

- Tap your Profile.
- At the top of the page, tap the image.
- You’ll be redirected to the Business Photos section where you can find all your images.
- Under "By you" section, tap the image you want to delete.
- Once the image opens, at the top right, tap Menu
Delete photo.
Tip: Photos under "By others" section will show photos uploaded by your customers through reviews or other sources.
You can report inappropriate user-uploaded photos through Google Maps:
- On your device, open the Google Pay for Business app
.
- Tap your Profile.
- At the top of the page, tap the image.
- You’ll be redirected to the Business Photos section where you can see all your images.
- Under "By others" section, tap the image you want to report.
- Once the image opens, at the top right, tap Menu
See on Maps.
- Tap the image.
- At the top right, tap the flag button.
- Choose the reason and report the image.
