About the Google Partners Digital Sales assessment
The Digital Sales assessment is designed to test your knowledge of online advertising basic concepts and sales skills. It assesses how effective you are in selling Google's digital solutions to clients.
You can earn the certification through Academy for Ads, Google's online training programme. To earn a certification, you'll need to pass the Digital Sales assessment. The assessment doesn't count towards earning an AdWords certification or earning Google Partner status.

Before you start
If you don't have an Academy for Ads account, you need to do so to access the AdWords assessments that are required to become certified. Find out how to set up your Academy for Ads account.
About the assessment
The assessment is designed to test your knowledge of basic online advertising concepts and sales skills, including the following:
- Advertising on Google
- Sales skills for Google digital solutions
The AdWords certification assessments are available in 19 languages.
Available languages: simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Dutch, English (UK), English (US), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Spanish (Latin America), Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese
How to prepare for the assessment
Before taking the Digital Sales assessment, we recommend that you have on-the-job experience using and selling AdWords. You should be familiar with online advertising and sales concepts.

- Academy for Ads: When you sign in to your Academy for Ads account, you can access the Selling in Digital learning path for the assessment. You'll want to take the courses in the learning path to help you study for the assessment. Note that the courses are available in English only.
How to take the assessment
In Academy for Ads, you can take the assessment from the Digital Sales learning path that has 'certification' in its title.

Passing score and time limit
- Passing score: 80%
- Time limit: 90 minutes
If you don't pass an assessment, you can retake it one day later.
There's a timer that will start to count down when you start the assessment. You won't be able to pause the timer once it starts. If you leave the assessment – for example, if you close your browser or your computer shuts down – the timer will immediately expire. You'll have to wait one day to take the assessment again.
The assessment is valid for 24 months. When the assessment expires, you'll need to retake and pass it again.
