Shopify and Google Optimize
0
Hi, Is there any way of fixing the issues "This page uses security features that are incompatible with Optimise mobile editing. For more information, you can check out our security requirements."

Digging deeper this seems an issue with Google Optimize, as I have spoken with Shopify technical support and the only thing that they can do is disabling Clickjacking security across all our account, which is not a solution.

Any ideas? To be clear, desktop editing works very well, but going into mobile version it throws that error.

EDIT: I have found a solution. Use a google chrome extension "Ignore X-frame headers", and everything works.

Hi,

Shopify has a content security policy that prevents embedding an iframe in the page. So that's not compatible with using the Optimize editor for mobile emulation. It should work for desktop sites though. You can try to use device simulation in Chrome dev tool to simulate editing in mobile site.

Hope this helps,
Optimize Team

Please check to see if your site implemented any of the content security policies that are not compatible with the Optimize editor:

Shopify sites always send "X-Frame-Options: deny" header which prevents the mobile simulation from loading.

We found out that our issue was caused by the "Tag Assistant (by Google)" extension. I would try turning off all extensions and testing to see if the editor works. We found that it worked after doing this.
