Creating your nonprofit profile

Before you create a project, you will need to fill out your nonprofit information at Some of the information will appear along with your projects, so please make sure that it follows these guidelines:

  • Your description needs to be free of grammatical errors and typos.
  • Describe your organization in clear and concise sentences.
  • Do not include unnecessary capitalizations. (e.g., "We Help Children")
  • Do not include your homepage URL within the description. There is a separate field to include this.
  • Do not use all caps for your organization name (unless that's how it's spelled legally) or description.
  • Do not include text soliciting help or donations (e.g., "Please help us", "Support our organization", etc.)
  • You don't need to include a statement regarding your nonprofit status such as "We are a tax-exempt nonprofit organization approved by the IRS with a 501(c)3." All the nonprofits eligible to participate in One Today are registered 501(c)3 organizations by default.
  • Make sure that your homepage URL is functional and the link points to the top page of your homepage.
  • The logo image must match the official logo of your organization. If you don't have a logo, you may include an image that describes your organization.
  • Do not use an image that has a transparent background.
