YouTube Nonprofit Program
If your organization has a Google for Nonprofits account, you're eligible for the YouTube Nonprofit Program. See the countries and regions where the YouTube Nonprofit Program is available.
What you'll need
To join, you should have:
- A Google for Nonprofits account. Learn how to request a Google for Nonprofits account.
- A YouTube channel and ID for your organization. Learn how to find your channel ID or create a channel. The YouTube channel should be easily verified as belonging to your organization.
Activate the YouTube Nonprofit Program
To activate your account:
- Sign in to Google for Nonprofits with your organization’s administrative account.
- Under "YouTube Nonprofit Program," click Get Started.
- Follow the steps.
Google will review your request within 2-14 business days and send you an email once the review is complete. After the YouTube Nonprofit Program is activated, you can start using all the benefits available to nonprofits and channel features for YouTube creators.
Note: If you need to change the YouTube Channel that is activated with the YouTube Nonprofit Program, log into your Google for Nonprofits account and under "YouTube Nonprofit Program" click on Change channel ID and follow the steps. Changing your nonprofit's channel ID is permanent and all associated nonprofit features will be transferred to the new channel.
