YouTube Non-profit Programme
If your organisation has a Google for Nonprofits account, you're eligible for the YouTube Non-profit Programme. See the countries and regions where the YouTube Non-profit Programme is available.
What you'll need
To join, you should have:
- A Google for Nonprofits account. Learn how to request a Google for Nonprofits account.
- A YouTube channel and ID for your organisation. Learn how to find your channel ID or create a channel. The YouTube channel should be easily verified as belonging to your organisation.
Activate the YouTube Non-profit Programme
To activate your account:
- Sign in to Google for Nonprofits with your organisation’s administrative account.
- Under 'YouTube Non-profit Programme' click Get Started.
- Follow the steps.
Google will review your request within 2–14 working days and send you an email once the review is complete. After the YouTube Non-profit Programme is activated, you can start using all the benefits available to nonprofits and channel features for YouTube creators.
Note: If you need to change the YouTube channel that is activated with the YouTube Non-profit Programme, log in to your Google for Nonprofits account and under 'YouTube Non-profit Programme' click on Change channel ID and follow the steps. Changing your nonprofit's channel ID is permanent and all associated nonprofit features will be transferred to the new channel.
