If you upgraded to a paid G Suite or Google Workspace edition, you can downgrade to your free Google Workspace for Nonprofits subscription.

Downgrade to Google Workspace for Nonprofits

Follow these steps to downgrade from your paid G Suite or Google Workspace edition to your free Google Workspace for Nonprofits subscription.

Before you begin, learn about data loss and storage restrictions in What to do before you switch.

1. Switch to Business Starter edition.
2. Submit a request to convert your Business Starter subscription to Google Workspace for Nonprofits by contacting Google Workspace support.

Important: From the time you contact Google Workspace support, it can take approximately 5 days for your Business Starter account to be converted to Google Workspace for Nonprofits. When you’re on Business Starter, you’ll pay the standard list price for each user every month, prorated for the number of days you’re on this subscription.
