Fiscally sponsored organizations

Fiscally sponsored organizations are not eligible to participate in Google Ad Grants. Each organization applying for a Google Ad Grant needs to have its own charity status.

Fiscal sponsors can no longer promote the websites of organizations that they sponsor through their Google Ad Grants account. Google Ad Grants recipients are now allowed to promote only the one website domain name for the registered nonprofit that was approved in their Ad Grants application.

However, in the United States, organizations that rely on the group 501(c)(3) exemption of a central ("umbrella") organization can apply to the Google for Nonprofits program as a "related organization" and may be eligible for their own membership.
