Downloading and Installing the Nik Collection
The downloaded file saves to your Downloads folder. To access your Downloads folder on Windows, click on the Start button, locate and click on your user name, and then in the window that opens, double-click on the Downloads folder. The file will end in “.exe.“ To access your Downloads folder on Mac, open your Finder and click on the Downloads folder, which is most often in the list on the left. The file will end in “.dmg.”
1. Make sure to quit out of any host image editing application such as Photoshop, Lightroom, or Aperture.
2. Locate the downloaded installation file and double-click on it to begin.
3. The installer will automatically attempt to locate the appropriate installation location, as well as the installed host applications. It is recommended that you leave the default options provided in the installer. In case no host applications are found, please try quitting and restarting the installer.
4. After the installer has completed, your software will be available within the available host image editing applications. For previous owners of the Nik Software products, your Product Keys will no longer be required to access the software.
Note: If you are installing the Nik Collection over previous versions of the software, it is recommended to first export your custom and imported Presets and Recipes from Analog Efex Pro 2, Color Efex Pro 4, Silver Efex Pro 2, and HDR Efex Pro 2.

Having Installation Problems?
If the Nik Collection does not appear in your host application after completing the installation, please check the compatibility requirements to ensure your host application is compatible.
If your host application is compatible but the plug-ins do not appear, please click for more installation troubleshooting.
