WiFi with exclamation mark (!) Android 5.01 Recommended Answer
I've been trying to connect to BT Openzone with the new lollipop update and I can't connect.
I'm using battery saver mode, that shouldn't be an issue right?
The guy at T Mobile told me that he's had 3 calls on this issue today. He had no solution other than to reset and wipe the phone.
While on hold with him, I figured it out on my own:
The problem has to do with the data usage settings. To get your phone working here is what needs to be done:
1. Go to "Settings"
2. Go to "Data Usage"
3. Go to drop down menu in the upper right hand corner (:)
4. Go to "Cellular Network Settings"
5. Go to "Access Point Names" (APN's)
6. Go to the drop-down menu (:) and select
"Reset to Default"
That got me going.
Google should give me a nice gift for figuring this out. It has been a major issue.
