Tablet not accepting correct PIN

I couldn't find a group called 'Android,' so I'm posting here. Please help me redirect this post to the right place - I'll copy this post to the right forum.

I have a Lenovo Tab3 7 running Android 6. This has happened to me before, and I had to factory-reset. However, this tab has an app from my coaching organization, Byju's Classes (it has nothing to do with the security or anything that may affect Android) and they won't reinstall thier app again. Last time my problem occurred randomly - I didn't take any action.

I'm locked out of my device and it isn't accepting my correct pin (I'm sure it's correct - it runs on my phone too). I'd just gone to Find My Device to ring it, because I didn't know where I'd kept it I didn't even look at the lock and erase options. Now, I'm completely locked out. PLEASE HELP!!

There's nothing fancy on my device, almost no non-Google apps, few files, no root, no custom ROM, and regularly checked for security hazards by Mcafee. I JUST don't see what could have caused the issue

PLEASE HELP ME GOOGLE!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!

Thanks,
Anuj

Hello.

As you have a Lenovo tablet you need to post your question in their forum at https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Tablets/ct-p/lt_en

Google release Android versions and updates through the Android Open Source Programme (AOSP) to manufacturers who then make their own modifications, prior to incorporating their version in the devices that they make. Consequently you need to use the support mechanisms provided by that device's manufacturer.
