Migrate from Cloud Print

  • Google Cloud Print will be deprecated in December 2020.
  • Before the end of 2020: We recommend that you find another way to meet your printing needs.
  • Starting January 1, 2021: Google Cloud Print won't be supported. Devices across all operating systems can't print with Google Cloud Print.

Print from your device

Important: Some of these steps work only on Android 9 and up. Learn how to check your Android version.

You can print from some apps on your phone. To print from your phone, add a printer that can get data by Wi-Fi or mobile network.

Turn printing on or off for your phone

  1. On your phone, open the Settings app Settings.
  2. Tap Connected devices and then Connection preferences and then Printing.
  3. Tap a print service.
  4. Turn the print service on or off.

Add & use a new print service

To add a print service:

  1. On your phone, open the Settings app Settings.
  2. Tap Connected devices and then Connection preferences and then Printing.
  3. Tap Add service.
  4. Enter the printer information.

To use a print service:

  1. On your phone, open the Settings app Settings.
  2. Tap Connected devices and then Connection preferences and then Printing.
  3. Select a print service, like HP.

To manage print settings, tap More Organize.

Print from apps

The way you print depends on the app you print from.

Often, you can tap Menu Menu or More Organizeand then Print.

Tip: Not all apps work with printing. In apps that can't print, you can print a screenshot.
