Our site is the 8th most visited media site in our entire state according to Alexa.  We publish ONLY 100% original content, and do so around twice per day.  Our channel shows all of our articles, yet you can search even a long EXACT headline and not find a single article in our massive site library of original content.  It has been 11 months since we launched, and 9 months since every single step of the publisher center from special logos, etc. was done.  Our channel shows all our content beautifully, but if you search our very specific name, you don’t find a single article of hundreds we’ve written.  Yet ALL are there on our channel and it has been 9 months.  I am so frustrated.  You can also search a sentence headline word for word and not find our content, yet go to our channel and it’s top of the list.

first and foremost, do you mean in general search or news?

if it's news then you should know that Important: Use the site operator “site:website.com” to verify that content from your domain is being indexed by Google. Without the operator, content from your domain may not appear if we have similar but more relevant content. This content might appear in news results if it meets our news content policies.

Google uses a number of factors when determining how news articles are ranked. Our News algorithms use a variety of signals to surface the most useful and relevant news content prioritizing signals that indicate freshness, originality, and general newsworthiness. For more resources about how to improve your site's performance on Google, I'd also suggest that you visit our Google Search Console Help Center. This content might appear in news results if it meets our news content policies.

hahahahahahaha it's actually very easy to be a news expect nowadays, but to be sincere with you, all sites approved through the new publisher center by the new news algo are experiencing the same issues, up till date, not even a single site has appeared in news, even the forum expects here seem to be in the dark and are obviously getting tired of putting out the same scripted answers that were perfect about a year ago.

All we have to do is be patient and wait until another algo is updated or google fixes whatever is going on.

Thank you.
P.S just another guy who has been complaining for the last 7 months with no helpful response. Ok BYE!!!

Yeah, everything is indexed, crawlable, dialed in. The content is findable anywhere EXCEPT google news.  I can search IN google one of my headlines, and it is always the first result. Literally ALWAYS.  But if I put the exact headline into Google NEWS, I cannot be found anywhere - even when it is a totally obscure and very specific headline.  It's maddening.  I can search google  with site:mysite and a word and every instance that word has been used on my entire site comes back.

Maddening is the only word for this situation.  All the help articles, all the suggestions, we comply and exceed (or in the case of don't do's we do none of) everything.

The BERT algorithm has been able to recognize the type of content since November 2019. If your content does not meet the news criteria, your URLs will not be shown in the News tab.

Well the BERT algorithm is ineffective at best.  That is being generous. Often times, media competitors who don't even make the Alexa list, literally "John's blog" will be shown with our article content shared.  So it IS finding the content, and seeing it as news, and it finds and indexes it ON our channel, but the content will never show up IN a news search.  If you search a competing news site for their name (JUST their name) every article they've ever published comes back, because it's their "specific" name.  But if you search our name, also very specific, not a single article comes back - EXCEPT the article from a competitor announcing our existence.

@Viacheslav Varenia because you are a gold product expect doesn't mean you are always right, do you mean all the websites approved from November 2019 til date, do not meet the news criteria?, not asking of 10, not even 2 just 1. Is that not outrageous?. I have somehow convinced myself that there is a bug somewhere and google is doing it's best to fix it and new sites may index on the next algo update or sooner but please enough of the uncertain reply's..

...all the websites approved from November 2019 till date, do not meet the news criteria...

I did not say that.  I said:
The BERT algorithm has been able to recognize the type of content since November 2019.

...we developed a new story-understanding technology to map the people, places and things involved in a news story, and then draw connections between them. This technology allows us to create distinct groups of news articles. To generate these groups, we use a variety of machine learning techniques including BERT models to examine the related articles and determine where one story ends and another begins. Our research has shown that clustering results into clearly-defined stories is critical in helping people easily navigate the results and identify the best content for their needs.

Your scripted response is unhelpful at best and flat out BS at worst.  There is literally zero reason why a no name dude who has had a personal blog for five years that only ever SHARES other people’s content, literally NO original content, and only posts once every 2-3 months should be indexable, yet our site, which is cranking out relevant, original, timely content that is not offensive should be getting zero indexing after 672 original articles in 11 months.  Zero. Reasons.  I have jumped through all the Google hoops, your BERT AI algorithm is complete crap at its job.  Or somewhere in the code it automatically does not index sites that got compliant with Google after November 2019.

I would love an answer that makes some sense... like “our algoritm prioritizes sites that have existed for 2+ years and since your site is less than 1 year old, you’re out of luck.”  That would be infuriating, but at least it would be believable.  “BERT can recognize content” is arbitrary and meaningless in the face of what it is actually doing which is NOT INDEXING ANY ORIGINAL CONTENT for new publishers.

@Viacheslav Varenia The issue is that you have been giving correct answers to the wrong questions. What every single person approved via the new publisher center has been saying is that no newly approved site has managed to surface in news over the pass 7 months and it can't be all our faults. To that question, its either you know why or you don't know but please stop making it sound like every single person has been doing it wrong.

I appreciate your responses and have learnt a lot from you but these is just out of our hands and you know it.

I agree it was a short time glitch but fixed only after I pointed it out to Google's Top Honchos.

ZoomTVEntertainment.com not visible in GNews either.
