Upload fonts

To customize your RSS articles’ presentation, you can upload your own fonts. Fonts are used in Google News Showcase and feed articles in Google News.

You can only upload fonts as either .ttf or .otf files. The uploaded font file size can be up to 1 MB. If you don’t upload font files, Google products displays default fonts for the products.

Tip: Font families typically contain 4 font styles: Normal, bold, italics, and bold italic.

To upload your fonts:

  1. Open Publisher Center.
  2. Select your publication.
  3. Click Publication settings and then Visual styles.
  4. Go to Fonts.
  5. Click New font family.
  6. Name your font family.
  7. Click Add font.
  8. Once you upload, the "Font file" field populates with the name of the file.
  9. Click Save.
  10. To find your uploads, the “Fonts” section displays a summary of the uploaded font files.

To edit your uploaded fonts:

  1. Click Edit.
  2. Proceed with the changes you want to make.
