Updated publication name

This Help Center article explains how to update your site name.

How to update your site name

If the name of your site appears incorrectly in Google News or if you've recently changed the name of your site, update your site name in the Google News Publisher Center

We have certain naming guidelines and ask that publication names omit extraneous articles (such as "the") and descriptive clauses. Your publication name should be that is unique to your site. Commonly used names such as The Times or The Chronicle can be confusing to our users.

If you've previously submitted a News sitemap, you'll need to resubmit it once these changes take effect.

Note: This change affects only new articles. Your old name will continue to appear on articles already included in Google News and these articles will expire after the usual 30 days.
