Share, download, or print your map

You can share your maps with others online, download their info for other apps, or print them out.

Share your map on social media or website

1. On your computer, sign in to My Maps.
2. Find the map you want to share.
3. At the top of the thumbnail, on the right, click Share .
4. Select how you want to share your map. 
5. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Edit access to your map

1. On your computer, sign in to My Maps.
2. Open a map.
3. In the left panel, click Share .
   • Make your map public: Go to "Who has access" and click Change.
   • Send people your map: Go to "Invite people," enter their names, and click Send.
   • Change what others can do: Click their name  Click More .
   • Remove someone: Click their name  Click Remove .
4. Click Done or Save changes.

If you can't find or edit a shared map:

• Make sure the map hasn’t been deleted.
• Make sure you’re on the correct account.
• Make sure the owner gave you access.

Download map info

1. On your computer, sign in to My Maps.
2. Open a map.
3. In the left panel, click Menu  Export to KML/KMZ.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Print a map

1. On your computer, sign in to My Maps.
2. Open a map.
3. In the left panel, click Menu  Print map.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Add your map to a website

1. On your computer, sign in to My Maps.
2. Open a map.
3. In the left panel, click Share or Menu  Embed on my site.
   • Make sure the map is public.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions.
