About this column
This is a required column that represents the Series container of a TV Show.
The avail should include the same value in the SeriesContentID column for all Season offers and Episode offers that make up a TV Show. Any variation of the ID in the avail will indicate a different TV Show.
The SeriesContentID (also referred to as SCID) is an identifier for delivery and is used to reference an object in a common metadata file. The SeriesContentID provided in the metadata inventory should match the SeriesContentID of the avail.
SeriesContentID should preferably be the same across territories for the same TV show.
Per the specification, the preferred encoding is Comm Metadata's SeriesContentID (e.g. md:cid:eidr-s:1489-49A2-3956-4B2D-FE16-5). However, Google will accept any unique identifier in this column.
Additional Google requirements
- You can duplicate the identifier used in the SeriesAltID column into the SeriesContentID column.
