About this column

This column represents the transactional policy (purchase, rental, etc.) applied to the avail window. Values must be unique for each row (e.g., cannot include EST, VOD on one line). If you have multiple windows for each transactional policy, please include multiple lines per policy.

 

Acceptable values:

• EST (Electronic Sell Through) - purchase policy for unlimited viewing.
• VOD (Video On Demand) - rental policy for temporary viewing.
• SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) - used for subscription platforms; not supported on Google TV.
• POEST (Pre-order Electronic Sell Through) - pre-order purchase only window.
• AVOD (Ad Video on Demand) - ad-based policy for Youtube

 

Additional Google requirements

• Google TV doesn't support SVOD, or Pre-Release in an avail. Please remove any SVOD, or Pre-Release items from the avail before submitting.
• Google reviews all POEST items for store placement. In the event a Pre-order cannot be accommodated on the store, we may ask that POEST items be removed from the avail.

Best practices

• If availing a title for EST and VOD in both HD and SD, the most common setup includes 4 avail offers (line items)
  • 1 EST/HD  |  1 EST/SD  |  1 VOD/HD  |  1 VOD/SD
• If availing a title for POEST, the "SuppressionLiftDate" column must be provided for each line item.
• If availing a title for AVOD, only HD line items are accepted, unless you have confirmed otherwise with the AVOD Team.

Common mistakes

• Providing multiple values in one cell.
• Providing POEST without a suppression lift date.
• Using the "SVOD" or "Pre-Release" values.
