What support plans are offered with the Google Mini?

The Google Mini now (as of 1/07/08) includes two years of support in the purchase price. This includes complete hardware replacement warranty, the technical support, and feature upgrade software releases. After the 2 years, you can continue to use the Google Mini under a perpetual license and get security updates or buy a new Google Mini to remain under warranty and support.

For many of our customers, the most important part of the support plan is the hardware replacement warranty. If there is a hardware problem with your Mini, we will overnight ship a replacement to you. You can copy over a few configuration files along with your crawl patterns, and your replacement Mini will be up and running.

Should you require any help deploying or maintaining your Mini, our support team is also available via e-mail and is more than happy to help you. The support team is comprised of Google engineers who are specialized in Google's enterprise search technologies.
