Not happy. Group messages and pictures failing to send even after reset rcs connection

I was happy with message +. It was the only app that did not experience issues with group messages or pictures. Was forced to switch. So here I am not even a week in and google messenger is failing me. Not sending my messages in group texts and not allowing me to receive either. Tried reseting rcs connection and restarting phone. Neither helped. Just had to wait for it to decide to work. I rely heavily on group messages for work. Google needs to get it together.
I am almost tempted to just trade my phone in for iPhone  now 😔
Any advice out there?
