Use Messages to chat with businesses

You can chat directly with businesses on Google Search through Messages.

Before you start

Sign into your Google Account in Messages. Learn how Messages works with your Google Account.

Your information, including your email and phone number, aren’t shared when you message a business from Google Search. The conversation is linked to your Google Account and is available across your linked devices.

Businesses see your name and profile picture but don't receive information until you send a message.

You can export and download conversations for your records to use with other Google products. Learn how to download your data.
