About the shop feed specification

This feed is only used to implement the local feeds partnership programme.

The shop feed maps your shop codes to shop addresses. If you don't provide this feed, you must match the shop codes in your sales and inventory feeds to the shop codes in the retailer's Google Business Profiles. This feed must be uploaded when you add new retailers or shops to the programme.

Use this field to provide a unique identifier to a shop. It doesn't need to match with a shop address.

Matching status
[matching_status]

Output only. The matching status of POS shop and Google Business Profile shop.

Note that there is up to 48 hours propagation delay for changes in Merchant Center (e.g. creation of new account, account linking) and Google Business Profile (e.g. shop address update) which may affect the matching status. In such cases, after a delay call pos.list to retrieve the updated matching status.

Possible values are:

  • 'matched': The POS shop is successfully matched with the Google Business Profile shop.
  • 'failed': The POS shop is not matched with the Google Business Profile shop. See matchingStatusHint for further details.

Matching status hint
[matching_status_hint]

Output only. The hint of why the matching has failed. This is only set when matchingStatus=failed. String

Possible values are:

  • 'linked-store-not-found': There aren't any Google Business Profile shops available for matching.
  • Connect your Merchant Center account with the Google Business Profile account. Or add a new Google Business Profile shop corresponding to the POS shop.

  • 'store-match-not-found': The provided POS shop couldn't be matched to any of the connected Google Business Profile shops.
  • Merchant Center account is connected correctly and shops are available on Google Business Profile, but POS shop location address does not match with Google Business Profile shops' addresses. Update POS shop address or Google Business Profile shop address to match correctly.
