Complete these 2 steps to correct missing descriptions:
Step 1: Find out which items are missing descriptions
- Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
- Click Products in the navigation menu, then click Diagnostics.
- From the Diagnostics tab, click Items to see items that are missing descriptions to see how much inventory is affected (you can view up to 50 items).
- Next, click Download to download a report on all items with missing descriptions.
Step 2: Submit a valid description
Submit a valid description for each item. Describe its relevant attributes in a way that is clear and employs standard grammar rules. Learn more about the ‘description' attribute.
After we've verified the description, the notification in the Diagnostics tab will be removed.
