Troubleshooting Your Account
Unable to Sign in to Your Account
If you're having trouble signing in to your account, please make sure that you're using the correct email address and password. If you're using the correct username and password, try deleting your cookies and cache before trying to access Google Merchant Center again. Additionally, please enable SSL 2.0 and cookies and confirm that any automatic configuration scripts or proxies that you're using aren't disabling cookies. Learn more about enabling cookies.
To change your password:
Please be aware that there is no way to retrieve forgotten passwords. Follow the directions to change your password.
- Visit Google Merchant Center.
- Click I cannot access my account below Sign in.
- Select I've forgotten my password from the list of options.
- Enter your full email address (username) at the prompt. We'll email you instructions describing how to reset your password.
Note: The information in the email that we send will only be valid for a limited time, so please read and follow the instructions as soon as possible. If the email expires, simply repeat the process.
To change your sign-in email address, please contact us, as users aren't able to change their sign-in email directly.
Deleting an Account
You can delete the content of your Google Merchant Center account by deleting your data feeds and removing your Website URL from the Settings page. You can also permanently delete your Google Account that's associated with the Google Merchant Center. Learn more
