Why this issue is happening
The “Duplicate store location” error occurs when a store data source entry is matched to a listing ID that is already being used by another store within the same data source. As a result, our system can only process one of these store data source entries, leading to the rejection of the other duplicate entries.
How to fix your issue
- Go to Data sources in your Merchant Center Settings.
- Select the Point of sale sources tab.
- Select your store data source.
- Select the download icon
to download a list (.csv) of all affected stores.
- Cross-reference the downloaded list with your uploaded store data. Update the store address, store name, and phone number for each affected store in your data source to ensure a unique combination for every store, thereby eliminating duplicate entries.
- Reupload your corrected store data to the Merchant Center using an upload method of your preference.
