How to fix: Ineligible for online vehicle fulfillment

Note: Online vehicle fulfillment is currently a beta feature for vehicles that are shipped nationwide or if you have submitted the build to order [build_to_order] availability value, you can apply here to participate.

If you don’t ship your vehicles, remove the vehicle fulfillment [vehicle_fulfillment] attribute or change the value to “in-store” for the option sub-attribute to match with the vehicle fulfillment type approved for your account.

Why this issue is happening

For one or more of your products, you’ve submitted the value “online” for the option [option] sub-attribute of the vehicle fulfillment [vehicle_fulfillment] attribute, which applies to build to order [build_to_order] offers as well. According to our information, you have not been approved for online vehicle fulfillment, and therefore aren't eligible to submit the value for this attribute. As a result, your offer has been disapproved.

Online sellers or online delivery services for vehicles is in beta. If you ship your vehicles nationwide, apply here. You should only request a review if you have been approved for online fulfillment.


How to fix your issue

To resolve this issue, if you sell vehicles online, you must be approved for online vehicle fulfillment. If you ship your vehicles nationwide, apply here. If you only intend to sell vehicles in store, you can resolve the issue by taking the following steps:

  1. Remove the vehicle fulfillment [vehicle_fulfillment] attribute, or change the value to “in-store” for the option [option] sub-attribute to match with the vehicle fulfillment type approved for your account.
  2. Specify the relevant store codes in the store code [store_code] attribute.

If your account is not approved for vehicle ads, you either must not submit this offer or follow the steps to become a vehicle seller.

Fix multiple products at once

  1. Go to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
  2. Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
  3. Select the title of the product you want to fix, then select Edit product.
  4. Remove the value “online” from the option [option] sub-attribute of the vehicle fulfillment [vehicle_fulfillment] attribute for this offer.
  5. Select Save.

Note: Online sales of vehicle ads are currently in a limited beta, and you must be approved separately for either or both in-store or online fulfillment. If you’re interested in participating, apply here.


Next steps

After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the “Needs attention” page.
