Reasons why the issue is happening

We have detected you haven’t provided the About page for Austria, Germany or Switzerland or your Impressum has been rejected. To enable local inventory ads or free local listings in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, you must submit an Impressum for each applicable country.

An Impressum has specific requirements in accordance with Article 5 of the EU E-Commerce Directive and is implemented by local laws. These requirements mandate that the webpage hosting your About page must contain the following information:

  • A physical address
  • Contact information, such as phone number and email address
  • The location where your company is registered
  • Any industry-specific registration, license, or authorization

How to fix the issue

Verify that you have provided the About page for Austria, Germany or Switzerland

Step 1In your Merchant Center account, click the tools and settings iconTools and setting menu icon [Gear].

Step 2Select add-ons.

Step 3Select 'active' and click on 'show me' under free local listings or local inventory ads.

Step 4Click on show me next to the country you wish to review.

Step 5Scroll down to Impressum.

Step 5 Ensure there is a URL next to the Impressum. If the status shows as “Rejected”, ensure that the page provided has all the necessary information.

Next steps

In some instances, if your account or a product offer is disapproved, you can request a review if you have fixed the issue or disagree with the decision. If the review is successful, your issue will disappear. If the disapproval remains and you’re uncertain with how to proceed, contact us for support.

Note: If you use a third-party platform to list your products, you may also be able to go to your third-party application to request a review.
