Reasons why the issue is happening

We have detected that you haven't provided an Impressum (About page) URL for Austria, Germany or Switzerland. An Impressum (About page) URL is required for free local listings or local inventory ads with in-store product and price availability hosted on Google in Austria, Germany or Switzerland.

An Impressum has specific requirements in accordance with Article 5 of the EU E-Commerce Directive and is implemented by local laws. These requirements mandate that the web page hosting your About page must contain the following information:

• A physical address
• Contact information, such as phone number and email address
• The location where your company is registered
• Any industry-specific registration, licence or authorisation (Germany and Austria only)

How to fix the issue

Verify that you have provided the About page for Austria, Germany or Switzerland

In your Merchant Center account, select Settings in the left navigation menu.

Select Add-ons and go to the Your add-ons tab.

Go to the 'Free local listings' or 'Local inventory ads' card.

Next to the country that you wish to review, select Review setup status.

Scroll down to 'Add Impressum'.

Ensure that there is a URL next to the Impressum. Once you have added your Impressum, your local inventory ads or free local listings can begin to appear.

Important: If your Impressum URL changes, you will have to update it accordingly by following the same steps. If you are unable to update the Impressum URL, please contact our support team.
