How to fix: Pending processing (local inventory ads)

Why this issue is happening

The product offer you’ve submitted is still processing and hasn't yet been approved. As a result, you may need to wait up to 24 hours before your offer is approved and your products are ready to show. Wait for at least 24 hours before reviewing the approval status of your offer.

How to fix your issue

These are some of the common issues that you may want to check:

Missing attributes

Your feed must include all required attributes. If you don’t provide a required attribute, a particular item may not show up in results.

Incorrect formatting

We currently allow feeds only in .txt format. If you have created a feed in .xls format, learn how to convert it to a .txt file.

Target country doesn't meet requirements

Specify the primary location. The product data uploaded to a selected country must meet the requirements for that country, including the feed specifications and policies.

Unsupported language and currencies

If the product is sold in multiple countries, submit your product data in a currency and language that's supported for your target country. Learn more aboutSupported languages and currencies.

Instructions

Review your products awaiting approval for over 24 hours

  1. Check that you’ve activated the LIA program in your Merchant Center.
    1. If you haven’t activated it, you can do so by selecting Settings in the left navigation menu. From there, select Add-ons, then Discover, and click Add on the "Local inventory ads" card.
  2. Verify that your local inventory ads setup is complete.
  3. Ensure that there isn’t any issue in processing the primary product data or local inventory ads product data.

Review your uploaded products

  1. Go to the Products page in the "Products & store" section in the left navigation menu of your Merchant Center account.
  2. Under "All Products", click on the download icon on the right.

Edit your uploaded feed

If you don’t provide a required attribute, a particular item may not show up in results, and if you don’t provide recommended attributes, it may impact the ad's performance. Therefore, you may want to edit your feed to avoid providing partial details for items no longer provided in the feed.

  1. Go to the Products page in the "Products & store" section in the left navigation menu of your Merchant Center account.
  2. Under "All Products", click on the pencil icon, and select the product you want to edit.
