Upload custom wallpapers

To set up one device at a time, go to Manage Google meeting room hardware.

You can upload custom wallpapers to the Google meeting room hardware in the Google Admin console. Display your company’s logo, images that are relevant to your products and services, or photography from local scenes. If you don't upload custom images, Google’s featured images will appear.

Upload a wallpaper image

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Devices and then Google meeting room hardware.

    To see Devices, you might have to click More controls at the bottom.

  3. In the Devices panel, click Settings Settings.
  4. Click Meet settings.
  5. To apply the setting to everyone, leave the top organizational unit selected. Otherwise, select a child organizational unit.
  6. Click Wallpapers and then Custom wallpaper
  7. Upload up to 10 files that you want to use for your devices.

  8. Click Save. If you configured a child organizational unit, you might be able to Inherit or Override a parent organizational unit's settings.

Guidelines for wallpaper images

You can upload a maximum of 10 wallpaper images to your Google meeting room hardware. They must meet the following criteria:

  • JPG or JPEG files only
  • Landscape (horizontal) orientation
  • 1920x1080p resolution
  • 16 MB maximum size
  • No watermarks or proprietary images or data
  • Photo owned by your organization
Important: Custom wallpaper images should never contain private, proprietary, or confidential information because this information is viewable to anyone in sight of your conference room monitors. The custom wallpaper image URL is externally shareable and visible.
