During Google meeting room hardware video calls, SRTP is used to encrypt voice and video traffic and SSL is used to encrypt management traffic.

Audio and Video Data
Google does not record or store audio or video data in video sessions with Google meeting room hardware.
|In domain video meeting||Users and Chrome devices on the same domain can join any named meeting.|
|Meetings outside the domain||External guests can only join meetings when invited, either by a calendar invite or in the “Invite people” dialog within the meeting.|
|In call security||Standard industry SRTP encryption for audio and video, and SSL for signaling and management traffic.|
