The Google Meet team recommends using only certified hardware in meeting rooms to ensure quality experiences. This page lists approved ChromeOS and Android Open Source Project (AOSP) hardware that work with Meet.
End of Meet support dates
Once Google Meet Rooms Hardware ChromeOS compute boxes reach their End of Support (EoS) date, there’s no guarantee a device will continue working. After the EoS date, automatic updates to the OS, applications, or the device itself may cause the device to stop working. For customers using AOSP, they can still work with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to get support based on the terms and dates they have agreed upon with those OEMs.
All devices going out of support are listed in this section.

Meet on AOSP-certified devices
Google is committed to certifying devices used with Google Meet hardware on the most current or planned Android versions available.
To ensure the necessary support lifespan, OEM partners and System on Chip (SoC) manufacturers (such as Qualcomm) must meet all certification requirements and provide regular updates. This continuous support is vital because Meet depends on the latest Chromium version, which is compatible with the Android OS version, for optimal performance and security.
If customers require a longer lifecycle and full OEM support beyond Google's end of support, we advise them to consult the OEM for the most up-to-date support dates.
