Hi Menaka,

Welcome to Google Meet support community!

G Suite for Education customers can continue recording meetings until temporary recordings become available later in 2020.

Temporary recordings will let any G Suite for Education meeting host record a meeting and share the recording within their organization for up to 30 days before the recording expires.

You can check the access of the advanced Google Meet after 30 th September depending on the G Suite editions here:

Hope this helps.

Hi, we currently have Gsuite for Education. Is it true that we only have 60 minutes time limit in video conference after September 30?  It was not mentioned here

Hi Mark,

No. That is not true. The 60 min time limit in Meet is for individual users with free Gmail accounts.

Here's a reminder of the official announcement Google published back in April. Scroll down to "individual users"  https://blog.google/products/meet/bringing-google-meet-to-more-people

Hi Menaka and all on this thread,

Google announced that the unlimited (24 hour) call limit for personal accounts will be extended through March 31, 2021.

As we look ahead to a holiday season with less travel and important milestones like family reunions, PTA meetings and weddings hosted over video, we want to continue helping those who rely on Meet to stay in touch over the coming months. As a sign of our commitment, today we’re continuing unlimited Meet calls (up to 24 hours) in the free version through March 31, 2021 for Gmail accounts.

Meet with Classroom with Google for Education is unlimited (24 hour) as well.
