Learn how CSE works

To add an extra layer of security to your meetings, use CSE. To use a meeting room's hardware, an invited participant must physically be in the room and authorise the hardware on their own device.

  • A CSE meeting is created through a Calendar invite or within a meeting. Learn more on how to enable CSE for your meeting.
  • To authorise room hardware for a CSE call, an invited participant must use their own phone or laptop.
  • Meeting rooms can join if they're in the host's organisation or an invited participant's organisation.
  • A room doesn't need a specific invitation. Access is granted when the identity of the participant who authorises the device is validated. Once authorised, the room hardware will join the meeting and everyone in the room can participate.
