Learn how CSE works

To add an extra layer of security to your meetings, use CSE. To use a meeting room's hardware, an invited participant must physically be in the room and authorize the hardware on their own device.

  • A CSE meeting is created through a Calendar invite or within a meeting. Learn more on how to enable CSE for your meeting.
  • To authorize room hardware for a CSE call, an invited participant must use their own phone or laptop.
  • Meeting rooms can join if they’re in the host's organization or an invited participant’s organization.
  • A room doesn’t need a specific invitation. Access is granted when the identity of the participant who authorizes the device is validated. Once authorized, the room hardware joins the meeting and everyone in the room can participate.
