Manage your Google Meet history

You can review or delete details about your call history in Meet.

Important: If you delete your account, you permanently lose your history. Learn how to delete your Meet calling account.

Important: After you delete your Meet call history or history with a Meet contact, when you place future calls your phone number shows as your caller ID.


All calls and message history are permanently deleted from devices that are:

  • Signed in with this Google Account
  • On the latest version of Meet

Delete history

For consumers:

  1. Open the Meet app .
  2. At the top left, tap Menu .
  3. Tap Settings and then Calling Settings and then Calling Account and then Manage Calling History.

Tip: If you can’t find "Calling settings,” at the top right, tap your Avatar and switch to your calling account.

  1. Tap Delete all history now and then Delete.

For Business & EDU users:

Important: This step deletes Meet (legacy) call history and Meet call history.

  1. Open the Meet app .
  2. At the top left, tap Menu .
  3. Tap Settings and then General.
  4. Tap Delete History.

Review contact history

  1. Open the Meet app .
  2. Select a contact.
  3. At the top right, tap More options and then View full history.

Optional: To delete contact history, tap More options .

  1. Tap Delete Meet calling history and then Delete.

Export call history

  1. Open the Meet app .
  2. At the top left, tap Menu .
  3. Tap Help & Feedback.
  4. At the top right, tap More options .
  5. Tap Export call history.

Tip: For Business and EDU users, this step also exports Meet call history.
