If you connect your phone number to any Google services, you can automatically register to receive Google Meet calls.
If you don’t want to receive Google Meet calls, you can delete your Meet calling account. If you want to use Meet again, you must reregister. Learn if your phone number is connected to Google services.
Important:
- If you delete your calling account, you permanently lose your Meet calls history.
- If you uninstall and reinstall the Meet app, then sign in again, your call history remains.
Block calls from a specific number
If you don’t want to receive calls from a specific number, block or report someone on Google Meet.
Delete & uninstall Meet
Step 1: Delete your Meet calling account
Important:
- If you delete your Meet calling account it:
- Completely disconnects from your phone number or Google Account
- Deletes your settings and call history
- If you register for Meet calling again, blocked phone numbers are no longer blocked.
- Open Meet

- Tap More
Settings
Calling (legacy).
- Tap Legacy calling account
Remove calling account.
Step 2: Uninstall Meet
- Go to your device's Home screen.
- Touch and hold the Meet icon
until it starts to wiggle.
- Tap Remove App
Delete App.
- Optional: Long press the Meet icon
then tap Remove App
Delete App.
To unlink Meet from your Google Home app:
- Open Home app
.
- Tap the Google Home device you want to remove Meet from.
- In the upper right, tap Settings
.
- Under "Device features," tap Voice & video calls
.
- Tap Unlink Meet from this device
Unlink.
Tip: If you reinstall the app, you can find your call history.
Remove your phone number
If you don’t want anyone to use Google services to call you, unregister your phone number. You can change the phone number on your account & how it’s used.
