You can find a person to call through Google Meet calling if they're in your contacts. If they're not in your contacts but they use Google Meet calling, you can add them.
If you use Google Meet calling on another device with the same Google Account, your contacts sync across devices.
Sync contacts before you begin
Sync your contacts so they appear in Google Meet. You can turn this off at any time.
- On your device, open Settings.
- Search for Meet

- Tap Permission

Contacts Tip: You can also remove access to your Google Account contacts. If you remove your account, you won't be able to use certain features like Google Meet on multiple devices. Learn how to remove your Google Account.
Find contacts
If you use Google Meet calling on another device with the same Google Account, your contacts sync across devices.
Important: If your Google Account is through your work or school, your contacts might not sync.
Find contacts on Meet for web
- On your computer, sign in to meet.google.com/calling/.
- In the search box, enter their name or phone number.
- Open your mobile device's settings.
- Tap Meet.
- Turn off Contacts

.Tip: Make sure the person you want to call is in your contacts and has Meet calling. If this is true and you still can't find them, let us know.

Invite someone to Google Meet calling
Important: Right now, you can't invite someone to Meet calling in your web browser, but you can invite them in your mobile app.If one of your contacts isn't using Meet calling, you can use your mobile app to invite them to download the app so you can make the 1:1 and group video calls with one another.
- On your mobile device, open Meet
- Tap New

- Search for the contact you want to invite, and tap Invite. Your default SMS app opens with a pre-loaded invitation message.
- Tap Send.
