Support eligibility

Google provides technical support services only for customers with paying Google Maps Engine accounts. Unless otherwise indicated in writing by Google, Maps Engine accounts that are made available free-of-charge do not include technical support services.

Phone support

For high-priority production issues: End users cannot access Google Maps Engine published maps for more than 15 minutes. Available on business days only.

To work with support, you'll need one of the following sets of information:

  • Your customer PIN and client ID
  • Your customer PIN and a case number

Sign in to the support portal to get the information you don't already have.

  • Your customer PIN is at the bottom of the Contact Us tab. You'll need this number to access the phone system.
  • Your client ID, which starts with gme-geb or MapsEngine-, appears when you open a case under the Cases tab. It's in a drop-down menu under General Information
  • Your case number appears under the Cases tab after you've opened a case.
