Google Maps for Windows 10

The gorilla in the room while using {Microsoft} Windows 10 insists on using Bing Maps. I want to use Google Maps by Default, instead. Is there a way to tranquilize this gorilla enough to reach this goal?

Hi, Thanks for posting in Google help forums,
Open windows computer,
Connect to  Internet with Modem / Dongle/ WiFi,
Select  Default Internet explorer and click to open,
In the search bar,
Type Google Chrome > Go >
Select Chrome version for this Device,
Download and install,
After finishing,
Make Default browser Chrome,
Restart Device,
Open Google Chrome,
Select Sign in  option  at top right,
Follow the instructions and add Account,
Close Windows,
Open Google Chrome,
Select 9 Dots Apps Menus ,
Select Google maps.
